PS: there is no wheelchair access into the new blog.. so don’t bother showing up.

  1. Hi George, Does this mean all the comments on Chalice so far will disappear? I can’t imagine what the idiots are trying to do by closing you down.

    • Yes and no Neil. they will all stay their for now. I just won’t be posting here anymore so the page will die off eventually. I thought it best move to the other site as I cannot be bothered by petty bullshit.. I will repost most of what is here on the new one.. well the Perth stuff anyway.

  2. Hi, I loved this site and music = freedom fer Chrissakes!! So please keep up the good work and keep me posted! Cheers!

  3. I hate to see any site go that is trying to share music that is essentially so hard to find. I hope the new site is going strong.

  4. Hey George, I just stumbled across your site when I was googling Chalice. I’m the guy who played In My World on my Gosford public radio show ‘THE FANCLUB’ about a year ago so it was a very pleasant surprise to see someone wrote to you about hearing it. I’m pretty sure we met a couple of decades ago when Zero Hour first started. I was good mates with The Pyramidiacs and still catch up with them occasionally. In fact I saw Phil Byrne only a few days ago. Sorry to hear you’re having problems with the blog. Let me know what’s happening with the new one. Cheers. Oh, by the way, the show is on 10 to midnight EST every Thursday night on COAST-FM 963. We do have live streaming at coastfm.org.au but it isn’t very reliable unfortunately.

    • Hey Ken,

Greetings from Avoca – I’m the woman who heard that song on your show! Incredible stuff and I just wanted to say thanks for bothering to do your thing each week – it’s a groovy show by any standard and a fabulous oasis of intelligent music in a sea of total SHIT! (the airwaves, that is!). Community Radio Rocks!

      Thanks a bunch,

      Celie

  5. George, you have no idea how much I miss this site.
If you would be so kind to let me know where I can continue to find you I’d apprceiate it.
I think you would like my “Secret Weapon” Radio Show on woodyradio.com.
Drop me a note if you wish.
Thanks again, this was a fun party while it lasted.

  6. Hello,

I have just today seen the title of your blog and was really disappointed to see that it has been moved. Could you please point me to the direction, where you can be found now?
Although I own a lot Australian music from that area (I am 45…), most of it is rock/independent (Radio Birdman, Rob Younger produced stuff and so on).

    Cheers,
    Ulrich

  7. Does anybody know where this blog has moved?
    I’d really appriciate any hint!
